Acne Issue?

Acne is a common skin condition where the pores of your skin clog. Pore blockages produce blackheads, whiteheads and other types of pimples. Pimples are pus-filled, sometimes painful, bumps on your skin.

The medical term for acne is acne vulgaris.

Cause of Acne:

• Hormonal changes
• Genetic susceptibility
• Alcohol intake and smoking
• Inadequate water intake
• Clogged pores

Some of the major reasons for acne formation, pimples and whiteheads include exposure to pollution and dust, anxiety, stress, carbonated drinks, spicy or oily foods and so on.

Symptoms

• Acne signs vary depending on the severity of your condition:
• Whiteheads (closed plugged pores)
• Blackheads (open plugged pores)
• Small red, tender bumps (papules)
• Pimples (pustules), which are papules with pus at their tips
• Large, solid, painful lumps under the skin (nodules)
• Painful, pus-filled lumps under the skin (cystic lesions)
